Charging hopper has a specially designed geometric shape. Slantic and shaped side walls enable proper working conditions of the pumping unit when sucking concrete into the conveying cylinders. Continuous suction and lack of air bubbles in the concrete mix allows smooth pumping of hard-to-pump concrete mixtures. The charging hopper is mounted on the S-valve chamber which is made of cast steel structure to avoid deformations during pumping. It also ensures perfect tightness between the “S-pipe” wear ring element and the wear plate.
