The hydraulically driven covers mounted on the mixer outlet are used to secure the load transported in the mixer.
You can differenciate two versions:
- so called half-plug to secure the transport of liquid concrete mix;
- full-plug to protect loose material.
The covers are operated hydraulically by means of a hydraulic cylinder.
The use of hydraulic cover gives wider possibilities in the use of concrete truck mixer. This is extremely important for liquid mixtures transported in difficult field conditions.
