IMER Group – How it started?
The Imer Group – IMER Group (Industrie Macchine Edili Riunite) is an Italian company founded in 1973 by two production companies from Siena and Florence, which started their activity in the concrete industry in 1962. The history of IMER is the history of relationships and cooperation of companies and the history of creating a strong corporation related to the construction industry.
In 1999, IMER merged with the Italian ORU from Udine (OFFICINE RIUNITE – UDINE), which has been producing concrete plants since 1959. Year 2000 is the creation of the current form of the Imer Group enterprise with separate production branches. Since 2002, the Italian leader in the production of L&T concrete mixers has become part of the Imer Concrete branch. From then on, Imer Group could offer comprehensive solutions: from concrete production to its transport and unloading at the construction site.

In 2006, IMER invested and opened a second production line in Turkish city Aksaray. This line is designed to meet the demand of Middle East countries and Africa for concrete mixers. Turkish production plants work based on the implemented ISO 9001 management systems. Under conditions consistent with ecological and environmental standards.
