The design of IMER mixers – like all manufacturers in the world – implies the need to provide access to the interior of the mixer. Inspection hatches are located on the first section of the mixer and are screwed to the socket in the drum. The manhole tightness is ensured by means of special elastomer gaskets. The size of the manhole allows inspection and cleaning of the mixer. All types of personal protective equipment should be used when carrying out this type of work. It is also necessary to provide proper ventilation of the drum and supervision by the assistance remaining outside the mixer.
